A key component of the Built by Nature approach is its network structure. Local networks have been established in various countries to actively bring together stakeholders, collect information, and make it available. Much of this information is also of interest to other networks. The frontrunner organizations within a network play an important role in the success of the networks and also have a clear profile of their activities on the website. We have flexibly linked and made all the information from the network, available solutions, knowledge, and frontrunners filterable. This has resulted in an accessible website that provides a clear overview of all the activities surrounding the transformation of the construction industry.
Flexible and user-friendly digital platform
The task was to develop a digital platform that aligns with Built by Nature's information needs and structure and working methods. After an intensive wireframe phase in which the functional requirements were thoroughly worked out, our UX designers started to further develop the website within the framework of the Built by Nature house style. The result is a fresh-looking platform with clearly recognizable elements, such as the frames and natural shapes and colors.
A lot of flexibility has also been built into the admin environment in the development, so that different content managers can manage their 'own' part. Content managers from the different networks thus have access to the solutions, frontrunners, and knowledge that fall within their network. In addition, there is a general content manager who can carry out a final review before publication. This ensures a pleasant and easy collaboration between all parties involved.
