Consultant
Malou Vijfhuizen
As a former veterinarian, I have a lot of experience in gaining overview in complex situations. My expertise lies in the field of animal welfare, animal health and sustainable agri-food systems. I apply this in my work as a consultant on sustainable agriculture and livestock farming. I am a good listener, sense all unspoken tensions in a group, work accurately and have a talent for making situations clear to others. In a conflict situation, I will act actively and strive for harmony. Because of my well-developed relational skills, stakeholder management is my specialty.
About Malou
The motivation for my work originates from my love for animals and interest in the coexistence of humans and animals. Through Young RDA (Council for Animal Affairs) I can develop my interest in a broad sense by discussing different themes, thinking about views and podcast episodes and possibly co-organizing events or activities in the future. I prefer to think about all kinds of animal welfare topics, where possible where they are related to climate. Through the Climate Conversations Foundation I give workshops about the footprint and handprint you have as a human being on your environment and guiding these sensitive conversations has my great interest.
