Sustainable and future-proof agriculture starts with integrated thinking and clear policy frameworks. As an arable farmer and junior consultant on sustainable agriculture, I contribute to this. Together with colleagues and customers from the agro-food domain, I use the experiences I gain from practice to look for solutions that contribute to that one ultimate goal. Namely, a strong and sustainable agri-food chain in which the future is the key.
About Gerben
With a Bachelor in Agricultural Business Administration and a Master in Development and Rural Innovation focused on policy; I have a broad but internationally oriented background. Because of my work experiences in Brussels and study, I observe things from a European perspective. I really like to make the translation between the policies from Brussels and The Hague and the real farmyard. Whether it concerns the animal or vegetable sectors, it makes no difference. In the end it forms a whole!
