The Oncode Institute
The Oncode Institute was founded in 2018 with a clear mission: outsmarting cancer, impacting lives. Oncode joins the forces of 800 cancer researchers at 12 Dutch universities and institutes.
Communications and positioning
In a new institute, many steps have to be taken to ensure strategic communications strategies are thought out and implemented. From the start in 2018, S&P has offered hands-on support to position Oncode, to set up communications strategies and to develop communications tools.
Content driven and creative
We support Oncode Institute in a secondment structure. Content driven advisors work directly with different members of the Oncode team. As a full-service agency, our creative team develops new concepts and materials to effectively communicate to Oncode’s stakeholders. We do this both at the level of the overall communication strategy of Oncode, as well as at the level of individual programmes. Lastly, we monitor news and updates on oncology on a daily basis.
Together for impact
Our flexible approach has helped building the Oncode brand step by step. Starting at the strategic level, we have implemented new communication tools to effectively inform the Oncode research community and the external stakeholders. This has for example led to creating a new digital magazine, improved functionalities in the website, coordinating the setup of a community platform and building individual strategies and tools for Oncode programmes.
