Schuttelaar & Partners joins the association ‘Alliance for the Internet of Things Innovations’
On Friday 11 November, the Alliance for the Internet of Things Innovations (AIOTI) was constituted unanimously by its members during its General Assembly in Brussels. Schuttelaar & Partners is proud to be one of the first members of the association.
The AIOTI association was launched to support and promote the ignition of an ecosystem for the ‘Internet of Things’ (IoT) in Europe.
With IoT, people and objects are interconnected through communication networks and report about their status and/or surrounding environment. Embedded with electronics software, sensors, actuators and network connectivity these objects collect and exchange data. IoT has the potential to transform several sectors e.g. from farming, health, energy to mobility shifting business paradigms with smart webs of connected objects that are context-sensitive and can be identified, sensed and controlled remotely.
Schuttelaar & Partners has been involved since the inception of the organisation and has been active in the working group on Farming, which makes and analyses IoT -oriented scenarios/use cases that allow monitoring and control of the plant and animal products life cycle “from farm to fork”.
